Inquiries

Red Ribbon Week, explained.

i

When is Red Ribbon Week?

Red Ribbon Week is observed nationally during the last week of October — October 23-31, 2026 for the upcoming campaign. Schools select assembly dates anywhere inside the window (or the week before, for districts that prefer to lead in to the campaign).

ii

How early should we book?

8-12 weeks ahead. October dates fill faster than any other time of year. Massachusetts schools should book by July or August for guaranteed availability in their preferred peak-week window.

iii

What's the program message?

Drug-free choices, healthy alternatives (BMX), peer-pressure response, refusal skills, and the spirit of the Red Ribbon Pledge — reinforced by professional riders who pursued sport as their drug-free outlet.

iv

How does it tie to the daily themes?

The assembly can anchor any day of the week. Most Massachusetts schools place it on Wednesday (Wear Red Day) or Monday (campaign kickoff) for maximum reinforcement throughout the week.

v

Does it align with Massachusetts curriculum?

Yes — the program aligns with the Massachusetts DESE Comprehensive Health Framework and supports district-level substance abuse prevention curriculum.

vi

Do you accept Massachusetts school purchase orders?

Absolutely. We work with MA school business offices on POs, invoices, and contracts. We can also bill PTA or PTO directly if that is how the assembly is funded.
